Piscinelle swimming pool materials
A selection of very high quality materials
We have chosen materials meeting our requirements for quality and longevity, our creative ideas and our responsibility as a manufacturer to build our pools. Stainless steel, aluminium and timber meet these criteria, all strictly formulated in specifications requiring supplier compliance.
Stainless steel
Piscinelle stainless steel has mechanical qualities making it supremely resistant to shocks or deformation. Enriching the stainless steel with molybdenum makes it corrosion-resistant, a major advantage as it is used to manufacture those parts of your pool in permanent contact with the water. But this stainless steel has above all aesthetic qualities, harmonising perfectly with the timbers we use. Its satin finish is a pure delight for the eye and the sensual pleasure it exudes will appeal to you under a golden summer sun as much as during chilly February days. Used subtly, stainless steel is the timeless hallmark of your Piscinelle.
Structures
Depending on their shape, the Piscinelle bodies are created in timber or aluminium. They benefit therefore from timber with proven technical characteristics, processed in compliance with European standards, or a lightweight metal with outstanding resistance to air and water corrosion, which generates a protective oxide layer naturally.
Environmentally-friendly
Both these materials satisfy our environmental requirements and our manufacturing responsibility. Aluminium is totally recyclable, with energy savings of 95% compared with the manufacture of primary aluminium. 350,000 tonnes of aluminium are recycled every year in France, providing 30% of French needs. Piscinelle, a company committed to sustainable forest management and certified under the PEFC criteria (certificate PEFC/10-31-811), the largest certification system in the world, can also guarantee that the timbers used come from a certified forest and can be monitored throughout their passage from the tree up to the finished product.
